AI Character Animation: The Missing Cookie
A 2D cartoon AI character animation in which three friends investigate a bitten cookie, and the culprit's puffed-out cheeks give him away.
About the project
This short 2D cartoon scene opens on a plate of cookies with one bite missing. Two of the friends turn detective, crossing their arms, pointing and accusing, while the boy in the green hoodie tries to keep a straight face with his cheeks full. It ends with all three laughing together at the kitchen table.
The comedy comes from acting and timing: suspicious looks, a guilty expression and quick cuts between close-ups. The same three characters also appear in the treehouse scene, showing a small cast that can carry a series of episodes.
